I am a freelance sound engineer and producer, specializing primarily in the classical field, but also working in crossover and jazz genres.
My journey began as a child, producing my own songs using MIDI. I progressed to recording myself, and then in 2008, while studying violin at the RNCM in Manchester, I took a gap year and was employed as an intern in the recording department. This experience allowed me to record a variety of classical ensembles, from small chamber groups to symphony orchestras and operas, as well as assist in recording jazz groups.
Since 2011, I have been working as a freelancer with a diverse range of clients and in various venues. Over the years, I have built up a substantial collection of equipment, which I supplement with hired gear as required.
My goal in recording is to faithfully capture the live sound of the performance in its acoustic environment.
